Helping Individuals Overcome Substance Abuse

During his time working in the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, he found a passion for helping individuals with substance use disorders and poor access to care. This passion led him to his current position as Medical Director for Addiction Recovery Systems (ARS) in Somers Point and Cape May, New Jersey. He also provides substance use consultations for Acadia - CTC in Allentown and Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Improving Access To Care

Dr. Harris' experience in public health has taught him that patients will often wait until they are in the late stages of disease before they seek treatment due to lack of access to care. Dr. Harris also found that patients have often waited too long to receive care resulting in unnecessary suffering. With this in mind, Dr. Harris set out to prevent this unnecessary suffering by providing access to high-quality care and counseling.
